On Saturday, May 8, 2021, CSTA Dallas-Fort Worth held Teaching CS through Project-Based Learning with Arm as a half-day professional learning opportunity for Texas CSTA members. As part of this event, Arm School Programs purchased some Micro:bits Version 2 to distribute to each participant. The event brought together 74 participants to learn and collaborate together.
We would like to thank Robert Leeman and Nicholas Sample at Arm School Programs for their partnership with CSTA Dallas-Fort Worth. We are sharing the video recordings for the events. Below are resources that were shared by Rob with our participants.
Additionally, we had a great giveaway at the end of the event. Five lucky winners were sent a large 9-inch rubber duck. Five lucky winners will be sent class sets of 25 Micro:bits version 2.
Arm School Programs is developing four EdX courses for CS teachers. The first two have been activated on EdX and are linked below. These are great resources for expanding our project-based learning skills and planning ideas.
